Additional Notes

All incoming freshmen must take a First Year Seminar (FYS) during fall or spring of their first year.  Most FYSs in the College of the Liberal Arts are 3 credits and count as a General Humanities (GH) or General Social Sciences (GS) course.

All students must take a United States Cultures (US) and an International Cultures (IL) course.  Some of the prescribed courses for History majors may satisfy these requirements (HIST 020 or 021 for US, HIST 001 or 002 and HIST 010 or 011 for IL).
