Additional Notes

Advising Notes

  • GWS, GQ, GA, GH, GS, GN and GHA are codes used to identify General Education requirements.

  • W suffix signifies the course satisfies the University Writing Across the Curriculum requirement.

Program Notes

  • Note: selected courses may be offered in additional semesters at other locations and campuses. Check with adviser.
  • Students must complete a 3-credit course in “United States Cultures (US)” and a 3-credit course in “International Cultures (IL).”

ADDITIONAL ADVISING NOTES: B.S. NURSING

  • The B.S. Nursing degree is designed for Registered Nurses with either an associate degree or a diploma from a nursing school. Students can have up to 33 previous nursing credits from their basic nursing program evaluated and utilized in this program if they meet criteria established by the College of Nursing. The Program Coordinator can provide details regarding this process.
  • After having completed all other General Education, electives, and major requirements, and assuming the 33 Nursing credits have been granted, the remaining 28 credits may be completed on a part-time basis.
