Program Notes:
The course series listed above is only one of many possible ways to progress through the curriculum. Be sure to consult an adviser in this department when scheduling courses.

[2] Students must take 30 credits in PSYCH (in addition to PSYCH 100 & 301W). Among these, students must take at least 15 credits at the 400-level  and at least 3 credits in each of six categories: Learning and Cognition; Individual Differences, Personality, and Social Processes; Biological Bases of Behavior and Mental  Processes; Developmental  Changes in Behavior and Mental  Processes Across the Life Span; History of Psychology, Socio-cultural Contexts, and Diversity Issues; Capstone Experience. Consult your adviser for specific course options.
[3] We recommend that students take 12 credits of internship ( PSYCH 495), 3 credits of which fulfill the capstone requirement and 9 of which fulfill either the major requirement for additional courses beyond PSYCH 100 and 301W or the electives requirement. The internship supervisor must a pprove your project, and you will need to be a junior and have taken PSYCH 301W at aminimum to gain approval. See your adviser to discuss further. Students interested in research careers or some types of graduate programs may want to consider doing an independent research project for the capstone requirement . See your adviser for approval.
[4] B.S. Business Option students must take 24 credits in business option courses. Consult Psychology Program Coordinator for a list of course selections.
[5] PSYCH 200 recommended but STAT 200 is an option if PSYCH 200 is not available.

This planner is for illustrative purposes only. The degree audit is the only official record for evaluating whether a student is meeting program requirements.
