Additional Notes

For those students interested in obtaining the Environmental Engineering minor, MATH 140, MATH 141, and PHYS 211 are required. Students with a non-engineering minor or specialization area (e.g. agronomy, wildlife, biology, ecology) may take MATH 110, and PHYS 250 (MATH 141 not required for Soil Science Option of the major).

Some modifications may be necessary for students who: require remedial courses in chemistry, mathematics, or English; or transfer into the major from another institution or major at Penn State.

Three credits of Social and Behavioral Science (GS) general education courses are fulfilled by the ECON 102/AG BM 101 selection required for the major.

Students must take one course with a US and one course with an IL designation. These requirements should be fulfilled by selecting GH and GA courses with the appropriate US/IL designation.
