Additional Notes

GWS, GQ, GA, GH, GS, GN and GHA are codes used to identify General Education requirements.
US, IL, and US;IL are codes used to designate courses that satisfy University United States/International Cultures requirements. All students are required to take one IL and one US course before graduation. A course designated as US;IL may be used as a US or an IL, not both.
W suffix signifies the course satisfies the University Writing Across the Curriculum requirement.

ACADEMIC ADVISING NOTES:
STAT 200 or STAT 250 is a prerequisite for NURS 200W.
NURS 390 should be taken in the first semester of RN BS program.
NURS 475 should be taken in the final semester of RN BS program.

ADDITIONAL ADVISING NOTES: B.S. NURSING
The B.S. Nursing degree is designed for Registered Nurses with either an associate degree or a diploma from a nursing school. Students can have up to 33 previous nursing credits from their basic nursing program evaluated and utilized in this program if they meet criteria established by the College of Nursing. The Program Coordinator can provide details regarding this process.

After having completed all other General Education, electives, and major requirements, and assuming the 33 Nursing credits have been granted, the remaining 28 credits may be completed on a part-time basis.

Program Notes:

PROGRAM NOTES:
1.        Typically, students entering NURN have General Education major requirements completed and will receive transfer credits.
2.        Speak with an adviser to have transfer transcripts evaluated.
